Group Projects
So far students have been able to work on learning the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. They have been able to do multiple tutorials and assignments to help them better their skills.
Personal Projects
Digital Help Board
Students are developing an online application that students will submit help requests to. The board will be displayed on the TV in the room so that Mr. Klins and other students can provide help. It uses HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Php, and MySQL.
Butter stick Keyboard
Jacob Wisnniewsk is a keyboard enthusiast. Once done with his work, he is working on a “butter stick” keyboard. A custom keyboard that allows you to type all characters but uses only 8 buttons.
Laser Engraver
Steven bliss has offered to take on a laser engraving project. He loves to work on these hands-on type projects (ex. 3d printing) and is very excited to see where he can take this. So far he has experimented with laser printing on wood and glass.
Choose Your Own Adventure
Students are creating their own HTML page to create a story of their own choice. It uses HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to run. It uses a series of buttons that allows you to go to different “steps” depending on which button you choose, deciding where the story will lead you.
