Hello! Me and my friend, Sullivan Sherwood thought it would be a wonderful idea to mess with Mr. Klins a little bit before we graduated from ECTS. I wrote this article to act as a sort of documentation of the prank we’ve come up with, possibly in hopes of creating a senior prank tradition in our classroom. For the prank, Sully and I are going to copy Mr. Klins’ exact outfit and mimic him for the day. To prepare for this, we had to build a profile on all the outfits he wears, so we gathered all the photos of him that we could find, and we also took secret pictures of him during class. Here are some of the images we used.

Images

From these images, we noticed he always wears khakis, so it will be easy to get those ahead of time. But we still needed a way to know exactly which shirt Mr. Klins would wear. But how the heck would we do that? Well, it just so happens that Sully’s mom is a coworker of Mrs. Klins — so we were able to get Sully’s mom to convince her to get in on the prank. Mrs. Klins’ role in the prank will be telling Mr. Klins to wear a black polo and khakis on a specific day so we are able to replicate his fit.

And so now that we can predict — or rather control — his outfit, all that’s left to do is get ahold of the duplicate clothing for prank day. So that’s exactly what we did this Saturday. Sully, his brother, and I went to the Boscov’s at the mall to buy a black polo, some khakis, and some Mr. Klins style shoes. We were able to find everything, but the shoes we found weren’t a great match.

Here’s Sully and I wearing the duplicate outfits at Boscov’s.

And that’s all we’ve done to prepare for the prank up to this point. Once we’ve executed the prank, I will update this article with a “Results” section at the bottom, where I will explain how the prank went, if it was successful, etcetera. But now that I’ve written everything I can about preparing for the prank, I’m going to show you guys all the other cool stuff we did that day besides shop for clothes.

Trip to Goodwill

The first thing we did was go to Goodwill, where we kind of just walked around and looked at junk for a while. Sully ended up buying a wireless PS2 Guitar Hero guitar, I bought something that will be used in a future prank (so I’m not going to say what it is), and Sawyer bought a Backgammon set. Here are some photos!

The Mall

After Goodwill we went to the mall to buy the clothes and afterwards we went to 5 Wits to do the Drago’s Castle adventure.

We also checked out a bunch of interesting stores like In The Zone Gaming and some other places I don’t remember. Unfortunately, we did not take photos of any of that — but, luckily for you, I am a master at photoshop and was able to exactly recreate photos of us there (see below).

Overall, the trip to the mall was very fun, but also very expensive. I spent around seventy-one dollars on random crap — and I would like to point out that Bed Bath & Beyond is a massive stinking rip off and they charged $13 for a stick of crappy deodorant. If you learn anything from this article, it should be that you should not ever go to Bed Bath & Beyond.

Sonic

After the mall, we went and had lunch at Sonic, which was the first time I’ve ever been there. I ordered the unhealthiest thing on the menu, and it was absolutely delicious. Sully on the other hand, didn’t like anything he ordered, so I ate some of it for him. Sawyer said his food was “yum”. I don’t really have much else to say about Sonic because it wasn’t too interesting, but we still took some banger photos outside afterwards. Here you go:

The Results

Before tech, Sully and I hopped on a call to finalize a couple details of the prank. We decided it would be best to wear sweatshirts over our outfits until we found an appropriate time to reveal ourselves, and we also thought it would be a great idea to try to get ECTS lanyards from the office. So we did exactly that. We came in, went to the office, got some lanyards (we had to convince the office secretary to let us have some), and then we went into class like nothing was out of the ordinary. We walked into the classroom and said hi to Mr. Klins in order to double check that he was wearing the correct outfit. Luckily, he was! Then we went to the corner of the room near the door, took our sweatshirts off, and walked over to Mr. Klins. He thought it was pretty awesome and said “YES!” a couple times and asked how we pulled it off. The whole class thought it was pretty funny and we got a cool picture. Here are some of the pictures from the day:

After that, Sully and I referred to Mr. Klins as “Klins Prime” and to ourselves as “Jason 1” and “Jason 2”. We also followed him around throughout the day and mimicked him, ate some of his altoids (sorry Mr. Klins), and acted as his shoulder angel and devil, whispering stuff in his ears. Pretty funny stuff. We did other things too, but I cant really remember what. Overall, it was a very fun and unproductive day. This whole thing took a ton of planning, but I think it was absolutely worth it!

CALLING ALL FUTURE SENIORS!!!

If you are a student of Mr. Klins reading this after the year 2025, hear this message: I’m asking you from the bottom of my heart, PLEASE carry on this senior prank tradition! Mr. Klins was always talking about leaving my legacy in this classroom through the ecosystem, and I thought it would be awesome if I did that through pranks rather than anything educational. That’s all. Thanks for reading!
